Welcome everyone! Thank you for joining me on this Iyengar inspired journey to trust and surrender. Our focus is on opening the hips and the heart.

This Yoga class is suitable for experienced beginners and intermediate level practitioners.  Please take care of your body. Modify or rest as you need to. Listen to your breath and let it be your guide. Do not overdo. Practice consciously, in a way that benefits your body, mind and soul.

Life always unfolds in the most perfect way for our higher evolution. Sometimes we resist change or feel frustrated if life does not flow the way we like, but ultimately whatever we experience is a guide to show us how we can connect more deeply to that pure source of energy that flows abundantly inside and around us. Life becomes a joy when we trust and surrender to the natural flow of life.

This Yoga sequence is designed to open our hips and our heart in such a way that we viscerally feel the release of old, static energy to create space for new, fresh energy to flow more freely.

Yoga postures included in this class are Siddhasana, Supta Badhakonasana, Swastikasana, Adho Mukha Svanasana, Adho Mukha Virasana, Bhujangasana, Uttanasana, Utkatasana, Anjaneyasana, Parsvakonasana, Vinyasa, Eka Pada Rajkapotasana variation, Malasana, Parvan Mukta Twist & Savasana.
