Welcome to a deep Yoga experience that will nourish your body, mind and soul. Yogaflow retreats are designed for solo travellers or couples whom wish to fully immerse themselves in the traditional teachings of Yoga in a private atmosphere, surrounded by nature. Our vision is to share Yoga with you in a way that will inspire your fullest creative potential to flower in all aspects of your life.

We are located in Camps Bay, the most beautiful beach suburb of Cape Town, at the foot of Table mountain, nestled between the grounding energy of the Twelve Apostles mountain range and the fluid energy of the Atlantic Ocean. Your accommodation is an open plan, rooftop suite with awesome views and all the luxuries you need to be comfortable during your process of transformation and healing.

Our Yoga weekends are designed to reconnect you with the forces of nature, to encourage you to intimately feel the elements of earth, water, fire, air and ether radiantly alive inside and around you. We believe that when we are truly tuned into the rhythms of nature, all other aspects of our lives flow much more harmoniously too.

Based on Samkhya philosophy, our Yoga teaching aligns with the philosophical belief that everyone and everything, including our own physical body and our mind, is essentially part of nature (Prakriti), ever changing and impermanent. By allowing the truth of this insight, our inner essence, that part of us that has witnessed our life story from birth to this present moment, that has never changed, that always remains untouched, that was never born and will never die, that infinite consciousness (Purusha), can then be experienced.

By understanding that life is a continues ebb and flow of energy, a coming and going of moments and experiences, we can take a step back to find enough perspective not to get involved in ways that create attachment or aversion. If we can allow the experiences to simple be as they are with discernment, but without judgment or intense emotion, then we can drop into being more peaceful, happy and healthy, clearly seeing that the root cause of our mental, emotional and physical dis-ease is in fact our false identification with an external reality that is in constant flux.

Through strong physical Yoga postures, fluid Vinyasa transitions, deep philosophy, expansive breathing techniques, spacious meditation, nourishing nutrition and a greater understanding of energy flow, you will learn how to find your own natural rhythm and stay tuned into the truth of your own being, as still pure consciousness, beyond the natural fluctuations of life, allowing all to spontaneously unfold exactly as it is in this present moment.

Our Yoga retreats are designed to suit your specific needs and will be perfectly tailored to your level of practice, beginner, intermediate or advanced. You are invited to dive into the beauty of your own inner world and discover powerful tools to enhance your self-knowledge (Svadiya), which will ultimately guide you towards a more compassionate, loving and harmonious flow with others and the world around you.

Our physical Yoga teaching draws from a variety of Yoga styles including Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga. We creatively weave a tapestry of insight into our Yoga offerings by firmly rooting our teaching in safe anatomy principles to encourage good body alignment, adding a dash of subtle soul guidance, yet keeping the practice playful enough to make your heart smile in the simple happiness of free energy flow inside and around you.

Like the ancient Yogis, we believe that everything in life is intimately interconnected, and essentially it is each of our individual responsibility to authentically raise our own vibration to a higher state of consciousness.

Come take a sacred pause from the stress of daily life and remember how it feels to be spacious, so that you can continue to tune into that spaciousness within you, even during the busy moments of life.
